Within the temple's cella stands a cult statue of Zeus Nikephoros, the god holding Nike in his outstretched hand. The civic legend ΚΡΗΤΙΕΩΝ ΦΛΑΟΥΙΟΠΟ is distributed around the design in the field, identifying the issuing city of Creteia-Flaviopolis.
