| Obverse description | Laureate head of the emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the prevailing provincial Greek style. The portrait displays characteristic features of the Antonine period, with the laurel wreath encircling the head as a symbol of imperial authority. The surrounding Greek legend is disposed along the periphery of the flan. The surface bears a dark olive-brown patina with areas of green encrustation consistent with prolonged burial. |
