Obverse description Draped and diademed bust of Empress Salonina facing right, her hair elaborately arranged and bound with a diadem, depicted with characteristic provincial portraiture of the mid-third century AD. The bust is rendered in moderate relief on a flan showing characteristic green and red patination. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy in the field.
