Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, a presentation characteristic of mid-third century provincial coinage. The emperor's military attire is rendered in relief, with the paludamentum visible over the cuirass. A circular Greek legend frames the effigy along the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show the typical broad, slightly rough fabric of a provincial Anatolian bronze issue.
