Obverse description Veiled and draped bust of Demeter Horia facing left, her veil rendered in flowing folds framing the face. The goddess holds grain stalks and a cornucopia, attributes emblematic of her agrarian fertility cult as worshipped at Erythrae. The circular legend ΕΡΥΘΡΑΙΩΝ runs around the periphery, enclosed within a dotted border. The overall style is consistent with provincial Greek civic coinage of the mid-third century AD.
