| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, rendered from a rear three-quarter perspective, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is executed in the provincial Greek style characteristic of the Ephesian mint under the joint reign of Valerian and Gallienus. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust within a beaded border. The flan shows typical irregular striking of mid-third-century provincial coinage. |
