The figure is rendered frontally with traces of drapery, flanked by the multi-line Greek dedicatory legend in the field. The inscription records the civic dedication by Claudius Melas on behalf of the Mylasean community, a formulaic epigraphic convention attested on Carian bronze coinage of the Flavian period. |
