Reverse description A four-line Greek honorific inscription reading ΕΥϹΕΒΩΝ / ΕΥΓΕΝΩΝ / ΝΙΚΑΙΕΩΝ, contained entirely within a prominent laurel wreath tied at the base, the wreath composed of carefully rendered individual leaves. The design is characteristic of Nicaean civic bronze coinage of the Severan period, where civic pride and honorific epithets were frequently displayed in this format. The field outside the wreath is plain.
