Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Severus Alexander facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Phrygian civic coinage. The emperor's features are depicted with a laurel wreath crowning the head, and drapery visible at the truncation of the shoulder. The Greek imperial legend surrounds the effigy, distributed around the periphery of the flan.
