| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, seen from the rear, with curly hair rendered in fine detail. The portrait displays the youthful features characteristic of Geta's early representation as heir apparent. A Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially visible on this irregular planchet. The flan shows an edge chip at the upper right, consistent with the irregular shape noted for this issue. |
