Obverse description Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, depicted from behind, showing the elaborate military cuirass and paludamentum. The obverse legend ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΑΥΡ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ, identifying the emperor as Antoninus (Caracalla), runs along the outer field. The portrait is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Mysian civic coinage, with the emperor's youthful features and characteristic laureate wreath clearly visible.
