| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip I (Philippus Arabs) facing right, the emperor portrayed with short beard and strong features characteristic of his numismatic effigy. The bust shows paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder over scale armor, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Syrian mint of Laodicea ad Mare. The circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait, reading from left to right around the periphery of the flan. |

| Reverse description | Tetrastyle temple façade depicted in three-quarter perspective, set upon a stepped podium of three visible steps; within the intercolumnar space, two figures are shown flanking a central cult statue or altar, likely representing a sacrificial or cultic scene associated with the principal deity of the colonial sanctuary. The columns are rendered with capitals and support a plain entablature surmounted by a pediment with a central acroterion. The colonial Latin legend arcs around the upper field, with the mark Δ Є appearing in the lower field to either side of the temple structure, denoting a regional or administrative control mark. |
