| Obverse description | Laureate head of Lucius Verus facing right, with characteristic full beard and curling hair rendered in the Antonine style. The imperial effigy is depicted bare-necked, truncated at the shoulder. The surrounding circular legend, partially legible due to wear, reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΛΟΥ ΑΥΡΗ ΒΗΡΟϹ, identifying the emperor by his titles and name. The flan is irregular and the relief is moderately high, consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the period. |
