The imperial effigy is depicted with naturalistic portraiture typical of the Antonine period. A partially legible legend encircles the bust in the field, reading [I M] AVR ANToNINVS AVG. The flan shows characteristic green patination with areas of reddish-brown bronze visible beneath. |
