Reverse description Standing nude figure of the Boy Zeus advancing to the right upon a low rectangular base or altar, his right arm raised and brandishing a thunderbolt, his left arm extended holding an eagle. The type reflects the local civic cult of Zeus at Aegium in Achaea, a subject well attested in the coinage of this mint. The reverse legend encircles the field in Greek, denoting the issuing community.
