| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Demos personified, facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Flavian-Antonine period. The laureate wreath is visible atop the head, with drapery indicated at the truncation. The encircling Greek legend reads ΔΗΜΟϹ ΚΟΛΟϹϹΗΝΩΝ, identifying the obverse type as the collective personification of the citizenry of Colossae. The coin is struck on an irregular flan with a beaded border, characteristic of civic bronze coinage from the Conventus of Cibyra. |

| Reverse description | Demeter standing in three-quarter view to the left, depicted in long flowing robes in the classical provincial style. In her extended right hand she holds a bundle of wheat ears, emblematic of her role as goddess of grain and fertility, while her left hand rests upon a long vertical sceptre. The field is plain, and the dedicatory legend in Greek encircles the type, naming the magistrate responsible for the issue. The composition reflects standard iconographic conventions for Demeter on civic bronzes of Roman Asia Minor during the Hadrianic period. |
