Reverse description Tyche, the personification of civic fortune, stands facing left in a full-length draped figure. In her right hand she holds a ship's rudder, symbolising the guidance of the city's destiny, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia overflowing with fruits, emblematic of abundance and prosperity. The composition is a standard civic type employed widely across the cities of Mysia and the Cyzicene conventus during the Severan and Gordian periods. The ethnic legend encircling the type identifies the issuing community of Miletopolis.
