| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view employed at Cyzicus, with the paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder and scale armour visible on the cuirass. The imperial effigy is rendered in a vigorous provincial style typical of the Mysian mint. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor with his full titulature, running clockwise around the periphery of the flan. |
