Reverse description Draped bust of Sarapis facing right, the Egyptian deity wearing his characteristic modius (kalathos) atop his head, a symbol of fertility and abundance. The beard and flowing drapery are rendered in the Hellenistic tradition characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The regnal year date appears in the field to the right of the bust as the Greek numeral Β (2), preceded by the date letter L denoting the Egyptian regnal year formula.
