| Obverse description | Laureate, cuirassed and paludamentum-draped bust of Emperor Commodus facing right, portrayed with characteristic youthful features. The imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery in Greek script. The cuirass detailing is rendered with fine engraving, and the paludamentum falls over the left shoulder. The overall style is consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Antonine period. |
