| Reverse description | Eagle standing on a thunderbolt, body oriented to the right with head turned back to the left, rendered in the bold relief typical of Alexandrian provincial bronzes. The wings are folded against the body, with feathering detail visible across the breast and wings. The Greek legend is disposed in the field to either side of the eagle, with the regnal year mark L ΙΓ (year 13) to the right and ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑ to the left. The overall composition is characteristic of Claudian-era Alexandrian civic coinage. |
