| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, rendered from a rear three-quarter perspective, a characteristic provincial die-cutting convention of the Severan period. The effigy displays the emperor in full military attire, with paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ Κ Μ Α ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ, identifying the emperor by his imperial titulature. The overall style is consistent with the civic bronze coinage of Lydia under the Conventus of Sardis. |

| Reverse description | The emperor Caracalla is depicted on horseback at full gallop to the right, his right arm raised and brandishing a spear aimed at a kneeling captive enemy figure prostrate beneath the horse's hooves, a common martial iconographic type in provincial Severan coinage conveying imperial military dominance. The composition emphasizes dynamic movement and the subordination of a vanquished foe. The ethnic legend ΤΑΒΑΛΕΩΝ appears in the field or periphery, identifying the issuing civic authority as the community of Tabala in Lydia. |
