Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, with the characteristic short beard and radiate crown of pointed rays. The effigy is rendered in the typical provincial Greek style, with the truncation of the neck visible at the bottom of the field. The encircling Greek legend runs around the periphery of the coin.
