| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, with beard rendered in fine curls typical of his portraiture. The imperial effigy displays the characteristic mature features of the emperor, with the laurel wreath clearly visible crowning the head. The Greek legend encircles the bust, reading from the upper right field. The overall style is consistent with provincial bronze coinage of Bithynia struck under the reign of Antoninus Pius. |
