| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Vespasian facing right, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style with strong, characterful portraiture. The legend encircles the effigy in Greek characters, reading ΑΥΤΟΚ ΚΑΙΣ ΣΕΒΑ ΟΥΕΣΠΑΣΙΑΝΟΥ, identifying the emperor by his full titulature as Augustus Caesar. The flan is irregular and somewhat worn, consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the period. |
