| Obverse description | Bare laureate bust of Emperor Vespasian facing right, with strongly modelled features characteristic of Flavian portraiture. The effigy displays the emperor's distinctive physiognomy — broad brow, prominent nose, and firm jaw — rendered in a provincial Greek style. A laurel wreath encircles the head, with individual leaves visible along the crown. The legend in Greek script runs around the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular and the die work reflects the local workshop tradition of the Phrygian conventus. |
