| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Titus as Caesar facing right, portrayed in the Flavian dynastic style typical of provincial bronze coinage. The effigy displays characteristic Flavian facial features with a laurel wreath crown. A Greek legend encircles the portrait within the border of the flan, reading ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑ ΤΙΤΟΣ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΣΕΒΑΣ ΥΙΟΣ, identifying Titus as Autocrator, Caesar, Augustus, and Son (of Vespasian). The die work reflects the provincial mint's competent but less refined engraving compared to Roman imperial issues. |
