Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, seen from the front, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style, with bold, slightly crude relief characteristic of Dacian mint production. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP GALLIENVS PIV AVG, disposed around the periphery of the flan.
