| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from a rear three-quarter perspective, a distinctive artistic convention employed in certain provincial issues of the period. The emperor's portrait occupies the majority of the flan, with the laurel wreath clearly delineated atop the head. The obverse legend ΠΟ ΛΙΚ ΓΑΛΛΙΗΝΟϹ runs around the bust, identifying the co-emperor. The style is characteristic of provincial bronze coinage struck at Nicopolis ad Istrum under joint rule with Valerian I. |
