Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Asia Minor civic coinage. The emperor's effigy displays characteristic short hair beneath the laurel wreath, with a strong jaw and prominent profile. The encircling Greek legend runs around the bust in the field, partially legible on this worn specimen. The flan shows the irregular, slightly convex form characteristic of hammered provincial bronzes of the Trajanic period.
