Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Severus Alexander facing right, rendered in three-quarter frontal perspective, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The imperial effigy is depicted in the prevailing provincial style of Asia Minor, with bold, high-relief modelling typical of Acmonean civic coinage. The Greek imperial titulature encircles the bust as a continuous legend in the field, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The surfaces show characteristic dark patination consistent with prolonged burial, with the legend partially worn but legible.
