| Obverse description | Laureate head of the emperor Septimius Severus facing right, with short beard rendered in the characteristic Severan style. The portrait displays strong, individualized features typical of provincial Lydian coinage of the period. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy, distributed along the periphery of the flan. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-hammered provincial bronze production. |
