Reverse description Apollo-Tyrimnaios, the principal deity venerated at Tabala, depicted as a rider on horseback moving to the right, bearing a double axe (labrys) resting on his right shoulder. The horse is shown at a walking or trotting pace, with the figure seated upright in a commanding posture. The surrounding Greek legend names the local magistrate and identifies the issuing city. The composition reflects a distinctly Lydian religious iconographic tradition associated with this regional cult.
