Obverse description Draped bust of Julia Domna facing right, her hair elaborately waved and coiled into a large bun at the nape of the neck, rendered in the distinctive Severan style. The effigy is depicted with finely modelled drapery over the shoulder and chest. A Latin legend encircles the portrait within a beaded border. The portrait exhibits the characteristic sculptural quality of provincial bronze coinage struck under the Severan dynasty.

Reverse description Venus, nude, standing facing with head turned to the right, her right arm raised toward her breast in a gesture of modesty. A small Eros figure stands at her feet. The composition reflects a standard Aphrodite-type iconography common to the provincial coinage of Bithynia and Pontus during the Severan period. A partially preserved Latin legend encircles the type, with the civic and honorific formula distributed around the field.
