Obverse description Draped bust of Plautilla facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed in the Severan fashion. The effigy is rendered in typical provincial Greek style, with drapery visible at the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend reads ΦΟΥΛΒΙΑ ΠΛΑΥΤΙΛΛΑ ϹΕΒΑ, identifying the empress as Augusta. The coin is heavily worn, with the portrait details largely obscured by surface corrosion and patination.
