| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped bust of Gordian III as Caesar facing right, with paludamentum visible on the left shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian mints, with a broad circular legend surrounding the effigy in the field. The coin shows characteristic wear and dark patination consistent with bronze provincial issues of the mid-third century AD. |
