The goddess is rendered in a static, frontal-facing posture consistent with Lydian provincial coinage iconography of the mid-2nd century AD. The ethnic legend ΝΥϹΑΕΩΝ appears in the field, identifying the issuing city of Nysa. The surfaces show a dark olive-green patina characteristic of well-circulated provincial bronzes. |
