| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Antinous facing right, with characteristic youthful features and full, curling hair rendered in the idealizing Hellenistic tradition associated with his posthumous cult portraits. The bust appears draped at the shoulder. The Greek legend ΑΝΤΙΝΟΟΝ ΗΡΩΑ is disposed around the field, invoking his heroic deification status granted following his death in 130 AD. The portrait captures the distinctive physiognomy of Antinous as standardized across the eastern provincial coinage issued under Hadrian. |

| Reverse description | A tripod with slender legs occupies the central field, supporting a globular object tentatively identified as an omphalos, the sacred navel-stone associated with oracular sanctuaries. A serpent is entwined around the central leg of the tripod, rising upward in a manner consistent with chthonic and prophetic symbolism. To the right, an indistinct object — possibly a cultic implement or vessel — is partially visible. The composition alludes to the religious and oracular character of Mallus, a Cilician city with strong ties to the cult of Apollo and Amphilochus. |
