| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style with curled hair and paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The imperial effigy is boldly struck within a beaded border. The legend surrounds the bust in Greek characters, reading continuously around the periphery of the flan. The portrait exhibits the characteristic Hadrianic facial features including a short beard, as was customary on provincial bronzes of this reign. |
