| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, draped with paludamentum over the left shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the characteristic Hadrianic style with a bearded effigy. The circular legend surrounding the bust reads ΑΥΤ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ΚΤΙϹΤΗϹ, identifying the emperor as founder. The flan exhibits the irregular, somewhat thick fabric typical of provincial Greek bronze coinage of the second century AD. |
