| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of the emperor Hadrian facing right, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The effigy displays characteristic Hadrianic portraiture with short beard and radiating laurel wreath. The Greek legend encircles the bust within the field, identifying the emperor by his imperial titles. The style is consistent with provincial Greek bronze coinage of the early-to-mid second century AD. |
