| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, depicted three-quarter from the front. The effigy presents the characteristic portrait style of the Severan period, with paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. A Greek imperial legend surrounds the bust in the field, reading the emperor's titulature abbreviated across the obverse. |

| Reverse description | Front elevation of a tetrastyle or distyle shrine with two columns supporting an arcuated lintel, rendered in architectural perspective typical of provincial Syrian coinage. Within the shrine, Tyche stands facing, turreted and draped, her head turned to the right, holding a spear in her left hand and a Nike in her right hand, with her foot placed upon a river god swimming to the left. To the left of the shrine, a small standing figure on a pedestal or basis holds what appears to be a torc or wreath. The reverse legend, distributed around the field and partially illegible, identifies the civic authority and regional designation. |
