Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian mint. The imperial effigy displays the laureate wreath clearly atop the head, with drapery visible at the shoulder. The Greek legend encircles the portrait along the periphery of the flan, identifying the emperor by his imperial titulature. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze coinage of the Flavian period.
