Obverse description Laureate head of the Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Conventus of Ephesus. The portrait displays characteristic imperial features with a laurel wreath crowning the head. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor with his full titulature. The flan is slightly irregular, as is common for struck provincial bronze coinage of this period.

Reverse description Full-length figure of Kore (Persephone) standing to the left, holding a long sceptre or torch in her right hand. A star appears to the right of the figure in the field, serving as a symbol of the goddess's chthonic and celestial associations. The reverse legend identifies the type as a civic issue of Nysa. The composition reflects the deep veneration of Kore as a principal deity of Nysa in Lydia.
