| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Commodus facing right, depicted with short beard, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, the drapery visible over the left shoulder as seen from the rear. The imperial effigy is rendered in the characteristic provincial style of the early Commodan period. The obverse legend is disposed around the bust in Greek characters within a beaded border. |
