| Reverse description | Three-line Greek inscription enclosed within a laurel wreath, the wreath tied at the base and composed of carefully rendered leaves radiating outward symmetrically. The legend ΚΟΙΝΟΝ ΚΥΠΡΙΩΝ identifies the issuing authority as the provincial assembly of Cyprus. The design is minimalist, with the wreath framing the inscription as the sole decorative element, a convention widely employed on provincial civic bronzes of the Roman imperial period. The overall strike is somewhat uneven, consistent with hand-hammered provincial production. |
