Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, the emperor portrayed with characteristic beard and laurel wreath. A Greek imperial legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially legible due to wear. The portrait is rendered in the provincial style typical of Achaean civic coinage of the Antonine period, with the paludamentum visible at the bust truncation.
