Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Herennia Etruscilla, wife of Trajan Decius, facing right and set upon a crescent. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Pontic civic coinage, with the diadem visible across the brow and drapery indicated across the shoulder. A partial Greek legend appears in the field to the right of the portrait.

Reverse description Nike, the personification of victory, depicted advancing to the left in flowing garments, holding a wreath extended in her right hand and a long palm branch in her left. The figure is rendered in the conventional provincial style of the mid-third century. The Greek civic legend of Amisus, including the city name and its status as a free city (ΕΛΕΥΘΕ), along with the era date ϹΠΑ (year 281 of the Pontic era), appears in the field and around the type.
