Obverse description Laureate, cuirassed bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, wearing paludamentum visible over the left shoulder, depicted in three-quarter front view. The portrait exhibits the characteristic strong Trajanic physiognomy rendered in the provincial die-cutting style typical of Paphlagonian civic issues. The encircling obverse legend names the emperor with his full titulature in Greek characters, occupying the field around the bust.
