| Obverse description | Bare head of Drusus Caesar facing left, depicted with short cropped hair rendered in fine strands. The portrait is executed in the provincial Roman style typical of African colonial issues under Tiberius. The surrounding Latin legend reads DRVSO CAESARI, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The overall style reflects the competent but somewhat summary engraving characteristic of this colonial mint. The flan is slightly irregular, with a dark patinated bronze surface. |

| Reverse description | Bare head of Lucius Apronius facing left, wearing a laurel wreath, with a draped bust. The portrait presents the proconsul in a manner analogous to imperial portraiture, underlining his authority as governor of Africa Proconsularis. A caduceus or similar attribute appears to be held before the bust. The encircling Latin legend reads PERMISSV L APRONI PROCOS III, indicating this issue was struck by permission of Lucius Apronius during his third term as proconsul. The reverse flan shares the same irregular, dark patinated character as the obverse. |
